Timing is everything. Right? It has almost been seven weeks since the accident and up until this weekend the Modesto weather has assisted me by staying warm and allowing me to wear shorts, which with the boot, is easy breezy.
The weather has taken a turn for the colder. This comment will make some of you reading this laugh out loud, because when I say colder, I mean 60's. Not really cold but when you want to wear shorts it is.
So here are my choices...finding pants with wider legs that will slip over the boot, bunching the pant leg above the boot or not wearing the boot. In any case, it is a hassle. :) I am coping but mostly through the use of wide leg pants. Hopefully by the time winter really arrives I will have the boot off.
Even with a sock on, an open toed boot in the snow does not work really well.
