First off let me apologize to you seven followers for my lack of blogging activity this past week. No excuses, just really had nothing to report.
In any case, today is the six week mark of the fall. According to the doctor that means I am at the half-way mark in my recovery. But, at the risk of sounding confident, I feel as though I am way past the halfway point. I know that may sound goofy to you, but it is really how I feel.
I am still ten days away from my next check-up and I have been faithful in not putting any pressure on my leg, but it really feels good. I get a little twinge if I try to curl my toes, but all the normal throbbing that has been a hallmark of this injury seems to have gone away.
Granted, when I sit for a prolonged period of time it does start to ache, but I am of the opinion that if the doctor says I can walk on the leg in ten days that I am ready to return to a "normal" life. What that really means is that I will be able to drive and when you can drive, you can do anything...right?
I know that I am going to be undergoing some physical therapy...probably a lot of physical therapy, but for those of you who are clients of mine...I will be seeing you in December and maybe even sooner...I just know it.
I hope you all have a great week and I will be talking to you all again soon.
