Introduction

I have been overwhelmed with questions and inquiries regarding my condition. The outpouring of care and concern has made the last couple of days more bearable. Because of the amount of interest, I have decided to start a blog to let you all know what happened, what was surgically done to me, and to keep you all posted on my progress over the next three months. AS A WARNING...Some of this may be graphic and/or gross. You may want to skip the story about the surgery if you have a weak stomach.
